Coolertech TCS&D Show 2017 Triumph
We are fresh from having recently exhibited at the TCS&D Show held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The show enabled us to really show off our insulated vehicle bodybuilding talents to a targeted audience. We are delighted at how successful the show was for us and that our refrigerated vehicle exhibits generated such a high level of interest.
We had three temperature-controlled vehicles on display from our innovative range, in the form of two insulated box bodies and one insulated van conversion.
Whilst our range of fridge bodies goes up to 26 tonne in weight, the largest exhibit on our stand at Coventry was a 7.5 tonne lsuzu N75. This dual compartment body, which has an operating range of 0ᵒC to -20ᵒC, features triple rear doors with stainless steel frame and column tail lift to the rear, and a pallet-width door on the vehicle’s nearside. Both door apertures are fitted with thermal strip curtains, and the body contains many other build elements which help provide the client with the perfect vehicle for its operation.
The second fridge box on display was a Mercedes Sprinter 3.5 tonne vehicle for frozen operation. This single compartment vehicle featured our AiroTech aerodynamic, curved profile roof design and some very special client-specific touches, such as a non-slip floor which was colour-matched to the client’s primary corporate colour. With an impressive payload, this exhibit drew a great deal of attention from visitors to the show.
Our panel fridge van conversion capabilities were represented by a LWB high roof Mercedes Sprinter. The dual compartment van with an internal, moveable bulkhead features some of the standard and optional build items we are able to offer. One such item is the Coolertech low-temperature side door which is hinged on the right and when opened fully, sits flat against the side of the panel van. This wrap-around design allows the operator clear and safe access to the load compartment and permits the loading of metric pallets.
